The AquaMate loop

  1. Observe

Show AquaMate your tank. A photo and a few words about what you see are enough to get started. If you have test results, they add useful context.

  2. Understand

AquaMate reads your observations, notices what is changing, and explains what matters right now.

  3. Act

You get concrete next steps: what to adjust, what to try, what to watch. Then you look again.

AquaMate is being built around three ideas.

A profile that knows your tank

Setup is a short conversation and one photo. AquaMate fills in what it can see, and you confirm what it got right.

A care plan for your aquarium as a whole

Guidance shaped by your setup, the life in it, your maintenance habits, what you observe, and any test results you provide. It adapts as your aquarium changes.

Today, at a glance

Built by fishkeepers, for fishkeepers.

We met in college in 2012 and have been friends ever since. Today, we each bring more than a decade of experience in the aquarium hobby. We are software engineers by profession, but fishkeeping and aquascaping have remained an important part of our lives. Together, we are building AquaMate to create the kind of thoughtful, practical support we always wished existed, and to give something genuinely useful back to the community.
